I'm sad
It’s 1am and I’m drunk downtown. The girl that loves me is in Biloxi with another guy who doesn’t treat her well or respect her for who she is… I’m all alone waiting for a bacon cheeseburger and she’s gambling away… WTF!!!
Just ran into an Amish fella at the bathroom of Wendy’s…now its obvious he doesn’t mind the technology of fast food but come on man…apparently he is against the automatic soap dispenser and hand dryer…wash your damn hands dude!!!

On the bus awaiting tonights game. The Volunteers are a tough matchup but if we can shut them down and make smart decisions on offense, we can pull the upset.

Oh what a night...
So….she spent the night with me again last night….I cant describe how amazing it feels to have her by my side.
She came over after work and hung out with me, my roomies, and their girls. We drank a little, joked around, texted one of her friends messing with him. Eventually we all got into a huge religious discussion. She is so smart and lovable and gentle.

The second half favored us. Our best adjustment was how we played the ball screen. It enabled us to decrease the pressure the point guard put on us.
We also shot well which limited the effectiveness of the opposing defense and we also showed a determined effort to score inside. Our increased defensive pressure led to run outs for us which also limited the pressure the opposing team could put on...

Tough first half, they are zoning us and we aren’t attacking it in a way that hurts that defense. Need to hit some high post flashes and some short corner flashes. Another is to shoot the lights out, but the first two ways are more effective. Let’s see what half-time adjustments we can make.

Practice was interesting today…I expected it to be worse than it was. The girls were having fun and were loose. We got through the scout pretty quickly and efficiently. We had a little contest between the practice players and the team to see who could grab the most boards; the girls beat us today, but rarely do they get a good shot up. We turn them over quite a bit.

Intramural Basketball
We got our second round opponent tonight….we are known Manager’s Special and we are playing What should I do? (ode to Lebron James).
We had a strong game on Monday; our PG hit 6 3s for us and our post players did work, real work inside for us. Mostly, though, we played sick defense. We had a strong scout of them too, thanks to me reffing for the intramural programs.

Knocked out the test in a shade under 30 minutes….112 questions and like I thought, the gods and some Illiad passages gave me problems….other than that, test was pretty straightforward.
